As we all start the new year in prayer, we invite you to join us in the London Camino Prayer Journey with your church community throughout the month of January. We encourage you to take some time apart to gather with others and go for a walk or a bike ride, or even a bus ride around your neighbourhood. Let’s pray together for mission and discipleship in our local areas and for London as a whole! We’ll host an online prayer meeting on Zoom on Sunday, 30th January 8-9pm in which we will worship together and you can share your impressions/senses from the month of prayer. REGISTER HERE!
“They say Aslan is on the move – perhaps has already landed.”
The theme for 2022 will be ‘Aslan is on the move‘ drawing inspiration from the famous C.S. Lewis fantasy novel The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. As we brave this uncertain winter, we believe that just like in Narnia the snow is melting and hearts are melting too in London and we pray for more of that! We know Aslan is on the move and as C.S. Lewis wrote… “Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight. At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more. When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death. And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.”
Aslan gives good gifts to his friends and you may recall Susan had a horn that she could use to call for help in an emergency and help would come. As Jesus-followers, our horn is prayer! We trust that when we pray, God hears our cry, open our eyes and moves powerfully (2 Chronicles 7:14). We have three simple questions below to help you pray in January. Let’s encourage each other with our revelations, dreams and plans as we meet on Sunday, 30th Jan 8-9pm.
