Summer 23

What’s happening?

Summer 23 is fast approaching, and with the amazing time we’ve had previously, this year we want to continue to spread the love of Jesus across London and to see our young people grow in their relationship with God. We are running Summer 23 from the 24th-31st of July, from Sunday to Sunday, and unlike previous years we are aiming to have just one location at Holy Trinity Church Hounslow where the young people will stay.

The age limit for those wanting to get involved is 14-18 years old, although if there are individuals who are younger than 14 and still want to get involved, then this can be discussed and allowed at the discretion of the church or youth group responsible for that individual. We are hoping to get involved in a variety of activities including serving in youth and kids clubs, helping at language classes, sports and music, gardening or working on allotments and working with refugees and Food Bank etc.

There will also be daily training practically and spiritually, which will involve practicing spiritual gifts together and in local churches and the community. We will be sharing meal times together and there will be recreation time to relax, play games and hang out together. We are having a training day April 30th at City Gates Church (83 London Wall, London EC2M 5ND) where there will be worship, teaching, and more. We are also aiming to have another training day during May half term but the details will be confirmed at a later date.
